Goodbye Gumho

Yesterday we moved into the Dragon Hill Lodge, and today we did the walkthrough with the landlord (or rather, Chris did and I played with the puppy at Rose's). We are officially moved out! On another note-I noticed that I have posted over 100 posts on this blog. That's pretty cool, I think. When we move back to Baltimore, I'll start another on a different page with a link back to this one (and vice versa). I'll probably have time for another post before we leave Korea, but if not-I can't wait to see everyone! I know it won't be right away, but still...

21 days to go...

Okay, so I know that my posts have not been too interesting lately. Mostly because there is nothing really happening here. With 9 days until we move out of the apartment, I've stopped caring what the place looks like. I'm ready to pack it all up--good thing the Army does it for us! Although I wonder if we'll see half the stuff make it across the Pacific. I've had a sinking feeling that everything we've had in storage is all musty, or was flooded and moldy, or somehow all ruined. We won't even know until probably October. Not sure, but at least 'til after we buy a house. Speaking of which, I started the great hunt a couple months ago online, and now we're working with a real estate agent ( a friend of a friend). Pretty exciting! We've seen a couple places we both like-yard, wood floors, the whole shebang, so we'll see what happens. Of course, we're not buying anything without seeing it first, but it's nice to get an idea of what's out there. After all, in 3 weeks, we'll be back Stateside!
