Now that I'm a black belt...

Yep, that's right. I'm a black belt now. I would post a picture of me getting my black belt, but I didn't get any since my camera is broken, so instead here is a picture of a black belt. It looks like mine, 'cept mine has my name on it where this one has "Taekwondo". Cool.

DMZ tour

James, Chris and I visited the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea) in January. I've put up all the pictures on the seoultrain site here. It was sad to look across into North Korea and know that millions of people are suffering because of their government's inability to come to grips with reality. One of the most heartbreaking stops on the tour is the "Freedom Bridge" which is visited by people who have been separated from their family members in the North. They tack up notes, pictures, and strips of cloth to the gate at the end of the bridge, and it really makes you tear up when you see it.
