Christmas is upon us!

Well, I was waiting to hear where we would be living for the next year, before I posted again. I hated to post a "We're coming home!" post, and then have to recant. So, I'm glad I waited, because instead I am sorry to report that the plans to head back to the States early have fallen through, and we're out here for another 10 months. Oh well....I've resigned myself to the fact, and will spend the last bit of time collecting as much crap as I can :). Rachel, on the other hand, is headed back to Louisiana for good. We switched focus this past week to just collecting as much crap as Rachel wanted :).

She had a hanbok made-isn't she beautiful? It's really gorgeous on-guess she's set for next Halloween :).

Anyway, I'll try and post some more pics before we leave in the morning for New Mexico. Otherwise it'll have to wait 'til after Christmas. I can't wait to get off the plane in Albuquerque! I'm looking forward to seeing Chris' parents, and I think we get to stay with Oliver, his brother, the night we get in. So I'm assuming we get to meet Oliver's girlfriend :). I just can't wait to vegg out for a couple weeks, eating some good food, having some good conversation, and apparently playing golf! I guess the awful truth will be revealed-I can't play golf! Well, I've played one game in my life, mostly just hung out at the driving range-but that one game was with my forgiving husband (who's not too great himself at the game, sorry honey) and our friend Will (who has a great sense of humor).
Ozzy is gonna miss us I know. James is being nice enough to come over and feed and play with him while we're gone. He's seen the suitcases out though and knows something is going on.

Well, I guess we're going to be empty-nesters pretty soon. It's going to be so weird here without Rachel... No more shopping partner :(. I already told Chris he's gonna have to go to teh fabric market with me whether he likes it or not. He was sweet enough to say, "sure honey".

Anyway, off to get some more packing done. Tata for now.
