Rachel graduates!!!

Well, it's finally happened. The baby's all growed up and graduated from high school! Mom and Emily arrived about a week before it, and Dad a couple days before (more on the family visit in an upcoming post). After the graduation, we went out to dinner at the Navy Club on post. Later that day we had cake back at the apartment, but mainly we just visited with Rachel. Rachel had been out of school for a week already, and spent a lot of the time with her friends in the evenings, as most of them are going back to the States for college. Anthony, Rachel's boyfriend left a week after graduation for boot camp before he goes to New Mexico Military Institute. Rachel does have two friends who are staying around, attending classes at the Yongsan campus of University of Maryland, and she's pretty happy about that. She's also started the modeling again. She's gone on 4 auditions so far for various jobs and the runway shows are starting soon, so they're going to be getting her ready for that. She's housesitting for a co-worker of Chris' right now-walking their dog for two weeks, so she's already got a good start on her summer earning. School at Sogang University starts in September, and she's keeping up her Korean skills by taking classes on Saturdays and studying in the evening.
